Alex Brooks
Principal Machine Learning Engineer
Alex is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Red Hat and maintainer of the vLLM Omni project. His primary area of expertise lies in multimodal models, particularly in context of inference engines. Previously, he worked at IBM, where he led efforts to enable the multimodal variants of the Granite family of models in open-source projects, including Transformers and vLLM. He has been an active contributor in the vLLM ecosystem since 2024.
