She brings over 20 years of strategic finance leadership across high-growth technology, asset management, and professional services. At CXApp, Joy has successfully raised capital, led buy-side due diligence for strategic acquisitions, and implemented AI-driven finance operations improvements while scaling the organization from founder-led to institutional-grade financial systems. She has established herself as a prominent voice in AI-powered finance transformation, featured in Forbes and Fortune for her innovative approaches to leveraging artificial intelligence in modern finance operations. Previously, Joy served as CFO at ServiceRocket, leading Finance, Accounting, and People teams. She spent five years at Google Cloud, where she evaluated and structured strategic partnerships and optimized treasury asset management. Before that, she led taxation initiatives and securities lending programs at BlackRock, and provided tax and audit services to financial services clients during a 12-year tenure at EY. Joy holds a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University, a Master of Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University, and a double bachelor's degree in Accounting and Black World Studies from Miami University of Ohio. Beyond her corporate career, she is a private investor and operating partner focused on supporting startups and women-led ventures.
