Yi Pan
PhD Student
Yi Pan is a PhD student in the Sky Computing Lab at UC Berkeley, advised by Prof. Ion Stoica. His research interests lie in building next-generation AI systems for efficient training and serving at a large scale. He is currently focused on optimizing long-context LLM pretraining via system and algorithm co-design. Prior to joining Berkeley, Yi was an undergraduate in the ACM Honors Class at SJTU and a research intern at the UW SyFI Lab.
