Agentic FPGA & SoC Development

Stuttgart Physical AI Workshop and Meetup - September 22, 2026

Sep 22, 2026 · Time to be announced

Frontier LLMs turn the knob on embedded development productivity up to 11. We’ll explore how AI-assisted workflows can accelerate optimization of modern vision models for resource-constrained edge hardware, using YOLO11 deployment across Jetson Nano and Zynq UltraScale+ SoCs as a practical example. In particular, we’ll look at identifying and evaluating efficient alternatives to computationally expensive operations such as the SiLU activation function when targeting limited FPGA resources, and how LLMs can help navigate the tradeoffs between model accuracy, latency, and hardware utilization throughout the embedded development cycle.
